Donohue Memorial

Dear HPHS Class of 1987, Family & Friends, We are writing to give you an update on the Bill Donohue Memorial Fund. We are pleased to report that we have raised more than $3000. THANK YOU! With the funds, we have purchased permanent outdoor benches for the High School grounds. A dedication plaque memorializing our beloved principal will be affixed. We are in the process of planning a dedication ceremony and have worked with the school to identify Friday May 8, 2009 as the date for the event. We plan to organize school tours on that day as well so that you can see what Highland Park High School looks like 21 years later! If anyone is interested in helping to plan the event, please contact me (at this email) or Stephanie Field (sefield@verizon.net). Many thanks to Susan Berlin (Steven Isakoff's mother) for her herculean efforts on this project. Again, thank you to everyone who contributed and we look forward to seeing you in May. We'll be back in touch when we have more specifics. - Sharon Kroll Cohen
